A Collector-Grade Russian Porcelain Coffee Service with 22kt Gold Detail
The "Winter Evening" pattern is one of Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain's most celebrated designs — hand-painted cobalt blue leaves accented with 22-carat gold enamel on crisp white porcelain. This open-stock service includes a coffee pot, creamer, sugar bowl, and six cups with saucers, all in the iconic tulip form.
The Design Pedigree
The "Winter Evening" motif was created in the 1970s by Nina Pavlovna Slavina (1928–2000) of the Russian Academy of Arts. The tulip-shaped form dates to 1936, designed by Serafima Evgenievna Yakovleva (1910–1993). Produced at the Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, Russia, in the 1980s.
