Shipping policy
Do you have questions about shipping costs or duty/tariff fees (for our American and international customers), there's no need to abandon the treasures in your cart. GENERAL INFORMATION
Orders are typically shipped within 72 hours from Monday to Friday. Our Shopify store uses a standard 12 x 12 x 12 inch box size to calculate shipping rates as the size/weight of each order is as unique as our inventory. If an order can ship safely in a smaller box, the difference in shipping cost will be refunded to the customers method of payment. By the same token, some multi-item orders will require a larger box to be safely shipped. In the event a multiple-item order increases the cost of shipping, a separate invoice will be emailed to the customer, which is payable through our secure website.
For shipping quotations, please email us with your full name, mailing address and telephone number along with the URL(s) of the item(s) you wish to purchase.
SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
We partner with Canada Post to ship orders across Canada. Each shipping label includes $100 insurance coverage in accordance with Canada Post's Policies. All our shipments come with tracking and require a signature upon delivery. If no one is home to receive the package, it will be forwarded to your local postal outlet for pick-up and you will need to show government identification. Additional insurance may be purchased for orders valued over $100 up to $5,000 (CAD) the maximum allowed. Jack's Daughter will cover additional insurance costs for orders up to $299. For every $100 of additional insurance, the current fee is $2.75 + HST. Insurance requirements over $300 will be billed to the customer by email which are payable through our secure website.

USA-SPECIFIC DUTY / TARIFFS
Collection of Duties/Tariffs occurs during the checkout process and are automatically remitted to US Customs and Border Services. There should be no landed costs with the exception of state tax (if applicable).
NOTE: Items manufactured in the USA and shipped back to the USA are NOT subject to duty/tariffs. However, the limitations of Shopify's system means that duty/tariffs are being applied across the board and we are unable to refund them. We know, annoying!
OUR SOLUTION
Email us your wish list with product URLs, along with your name, mailing address and phone number. We will create the order on your behalf, apply the duty/tariff to any applicable items, and send an invoice inclusive of Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping. You'll be able to pay the invoice through our secure website and we'll ship your order with the required customs forms for processing by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship internationally to select countries. If your country is not listed at check out, please reach out to us and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your order. Customers are responsible for duty/tariff/applicable taxes upon landing. If you refuse these fees and the order is returned to us, we will be unable to offer a refund.
LOCAL DELIVERY WITHIN METROPOLITAN TORONTO
Local delivery is available within Metropolitan Toronto (see map below). Customers must be onsite to accept delivery as we are unable to leave packages unattended. Delivery fees start at $20.00. Contact us for a quote.

PICK-UP YOUR ORDER AT OUR TORONTO WAREHOUSE
(located near St. Clair Ave West & Bathurst Street)
Orders can be collected at our Toronto Warehouse — BY APPOINTMENT ONLY — ideally within 2 weeks. A Pick Up Notification is emailed to let the customer know their order is ready. We ask the customer reach out to us upon receiving the Pick Up Notification to arrange a mutually convenient appointment to retrieve their order. Orders will be packed in a gift bag with adequate bubble wrap and tissue paper.
Unclaimed and/or abandoned orders will be held for 30 days. After this time we reserve the right to resell the items and no refund will be given. If a customer anticipates retrieving their order beyond 30 days, please reach out to us to let us know. Customers who wish to have us hold their order for more than 30 days will be subject to a storage fee of $5.00/week.
