This vintage bone china teacup and saucer is absolutely stunning! Both the cup and saucer have a lovely scalloped shape. The cup is glazed in a lovely shade of celadon green, the interior celadon band is overlaid with a complex gold pattern and the bottom of the cup has a central bouquet of colourful flowers. The saucer is celadon green with a white centre and gold gilt rim. Produced by Aynsley, England, circa 1939.
In excellent condition, free from chips, cracks and repairs. Pattern number C1557 and maker's marks are on the bottom of the teacup and maker's mark on the saucer.
