A lovely vintage Nippon oval handled bowl, hand painted in matte yellow, green and ochre featuring clusters of white flowers outlined in white moriage with green leaves. The bowl is finished with a scalloped edge, decorated with detailed gold moriage and gilt. Crafted by artisans in Japan, circa 1920s. A stunning piece!
The porcelain is in used vintage condition, free from chips/cracks/repairs. There is wear to the gold gilt on the handles. The bottom is marked "Hand Painted Nippon" and stamped "R210".
