Wonderful vintage jadeite green glass flowerlite flower frog featuring 7 outer holes for flower stems and 1 central hole which is meant to hold a taper candle. Crafted by Fenton Art Glass, USA, circa 1920s, unmarked. This frog appears on page 141 of the Bull Book on Flower Frogs. A hard-to-find piece to add to your vintage glass collection. Would look heavenly paired with a jadeite bowl to create a beautiful candle lit floral centrepiece!
In used as-found vintage condition. There is a roughness to one of the little feet on one frog and hole edges on the underside of both are either from rough mold release during manufacturing or from use. There appear to be cracks, but none of them interfere with the function of the frog. Please examine photos carefully and feel free to reach out with questions prior to purchasing.
