A Striking Moorcroft Tray in the Sonoma Pattern
Designed by Rachel Bishop in 2003, this hand-painted art pottery tray in the Sonoma pattern is a refined example of Moorcroft's signature craft. Shape 965, it features richly layered grapevines painted over tube-lined slip on a deep blue ground, with a palette of blue, purple, green, and brown that gives the piece its distinctive, jewel-like depth.
