This gorgeous mid-century "Anemone" perfume bottle with stopper is hand painted  in the slip glaze technique in shades of purple, pink and green on a deep cobalt blue ground. This is an absolute luxury piece from a bygone era. Produced by Moorcroft Pottery, circa 1928-1953.

In good used vintage condition, no cracks or repairs. There is an area on the foot with a manufacturer's defect where the glaze has come away which could be considered a chip. As it is difficult to see because it's deep blue, please review the photos. Bottom shows impressed signature of Walter Moorcroft, "MADE IN ENGLAND" and Royal Warrant paper label - 'Potter To HM The Queen'. Crazing which is normal for a piece of this age.
