This large white ironstone pitcher has a lovely transferware pattern of oriental poppies and decorative scrolls with beautifully detailed handle. Early English Ironstone is known for its simplicity of design and has been a favourite of collectors for decades. Its simple elegance lends it nicely to many decor styles including shabby chic, cottage, victorian, farmhouse, industrial and everything in between.
In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Stamped on the bottom "COLONIAL POTTERY STOKE ENGLAND" and "VERSAILLES"
