Gorgeous vintage mid-century lidded jar in the "Anemone" pattern on green ground, hand painted in shades of pink, purple and green using the slip glaze technique. Made by Moorcroft Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1950.
In excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. On the bottom impressed signature of Walter Moorcroft, "POTTER TO THE QUEEN" and "MADE IN ENGLAND". Crazing which is normal for a piece of this age.
