Fenton Art Glass “Fine Rib” Marigold Carnival Glass Swung Vase
A beautifully preserved example of early American art glass, this swung vase was produced by Fenton Art Glass Company between 1900 and the 1930s. The "Fine Rib" pattern runs in clean vertical lines from base to rim, catching light across a rich oil-slick iridescent surface in classic marigold amber-orange.
What Makes It Special
The asymmetrical scalloped rim is a hallmark of the swung technique — each vase pulled by hand into a one-of-a-kind silhouette. The iridescence shifts from warm amber to green and violet depending on the light, a quality that made carnival glass the must-have vintage decorative ware of its era.
