We are thrilled to offer from our personal collection this rare and beautiful antique shell-shaped bone china, tea cup, saucer and salad plate trio in the complex floral "Jungle Print" pattern in purple along with the matching open sugar bowl (at no cost as it has a large repair). Produced by JF Wileman, the precursor to Foley and Shelley in England, circa 1889.
In good condition for age. All pieces are free from chips/crazing with some loss of the gold trim. Tea cup has small hairline crack near the handle and the open sugar has repaired cracks. All have the Wileman backstamp. All pieces have registration mark "117220" with "6170" in gold denoting the pattern name. Teacup has additional registration mark "115510.
