This large white ironstone pitcher has a lovely subtle pattern of raised leaf ornaments, dots, crimped ribbon on this classic urn shape with scalloped foot. Early English Ironstone is known for its simplicity of design and has been a favourite of collectors for decades. Its simple elegance lends it nicely to many decor styles including shabby chic, cottage, victorian, farmhouse, industrial and everything in between.
In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Stamped on the bottom 'IRONSTONE CHINA, J&G.MEAKIN. HANLEY. ENGLAND." along with the Lion and Unicorn crest.
